Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan, Pratapgarh was established in 2015 and this is an affiliated college situated in Kharhar Sipahmaheri, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This co – education college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, with an emphasis on courses leading to the preparation of teachers. With a total enrolment of 464 students and a faculty strength of 39, the institute offers three full-time courses. B.Ed and D.El.Ed. College is comparatively younger in nature but has been constantly expanding its role in field of education to equip the young and budding teacher with right training and knowledge.

Laboratories are useful for the functional requirements of educating teachers as they offer the basics of enacting skills for students. Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan a college of teacher education offers three programmes in teacher education. The B.Ed and the D.El.Ed courses are two-year full time programmes. Each of the programme has been approved to have an intake capacity of one hundred students thus the cumulative student enrolment for the two courses is two hundred.

Admission in Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan is directly based on merit list, which has been framed taking into consideration the policy rules of State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the University with which it is affiliated. In case of the B.Ed programme, the admissions are done strictly on mark secured in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination conducted for the same. Application Process
For B.Ed program:
Candidates should be graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree or B.Tech with Mathematics and Science with at least 55% marks.
Candidates are required to appear in the entrance examination conducted for B.Ed admissions.
The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in both the qualifying examination and the entrance test.
Admission issues are done according to the institute's admission policy with respect to the selected candidates.
For the D.El.Ed program:
Candidates should have completed Intermediate (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks.
If selected by the institute or according to state government policy, the candidates may have to appear for an entrance test.
A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance test.
The selected candidates will complete the admission procedure by producing the requisite documents and paying the prescribed admission fee.
Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed:
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program is a two-year full-time course with a total intake capacity of 100 students. Eligibility calls for graduation with B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., or choice of B.Tech with a minimum of 55% marks. Admission is made purely on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam and entrance exam according to procedures prescribed by both the government and university.
D.El.Ed:
The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) comes as a two-year full-time program with an intake of 100 students. Eligibility is that the candidate shall have completed Intermediate (10+2) with at least 50% marks. Admission shall be on merit based on marks in the qualifying examination or entrance test as per state government policy.
BA:
The institute also runs the Bachelor of Arts (BA).
