Adarsh College of Education, Bhiwani. It is an affiliated institution that has received recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college follows an elaborate admission process for the selection of qualified candidates to its education programs. The admission process at Adarsh College of Education is purely merit-based and considers the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination for selection. The merit list may also include any other selection criteria laid down for policy requirements by the Government of Haryana, administration of the Union Territory, or the affiliated university.
Application Process
The application procedure consists of the following steps:
1. Eligibility for admission: The candidates should ensure first that they meet the eligibility for their desired course e.g. B.Ed or D.Ed.
2. Application Form: Candidates are to obtain and duly fill out an application form, available at the college website or at the college campus.
3. Submission of Documents: Documents to be attached and submitted include:
4. If there is a provision for an entrance examination, the candidate must sit for it in accordance with the date released by the college or the affiliated university.
5. Based on having either taken a qualifying examination or an entrance examination, the college will prepare a merit list.
6. The candidates from the merit list are then called for counselling. Admission shall be granted on the basis of merit and availability of seats.
7. Upon selection, the candidate should follow up with payment of fees for admission within the given deadline.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): For B.Ed at Adarsh College of Education, Bhiwani, enrollment of 100 seats have been approved. Admission to the B.Ed course will be provided in merit order according to the marks attained in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The process of selection may also include any supplementary criteria laid down for policy requirements by the State Government/UT administration/affiliated university. The B.Ed. programme is meant to complete within a span of two years.
D.Ed (Diploma in Education): D.Ed program encompasses 50 seats. The admission procedure is the same as that of the B.Ed program: candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination for the said course. The admission procedure will also take into account any other selection criteria set by the competent authorities in regard to D.Ed, just as for B.Ed. Two years is the duration of the D.Ed course.
