Adarsha College of Elementary Teacher Education, Narayanpet Admission Process

Adarsha College for Elementary Teacher Education, Narayanpet, as a college instituted for special training of elementary teachers in the state of Telangana.  The admission to the Adarsha College for Elementary Teacher Education intends to select candidates who will succeed as very promising elementary teachers. Admissions based upon merit are in accordance with the policies prescribed by the state government and the respective university the college is affiliated to. Admission takes place on the basis of merit obtained from either the qualifying examination and/or from an entrance test. Merit-based entry is done to ensure that only deserving and well committed candidates get into the programme. The award of affiliation from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to the college signifies a commitment to quality.

Application Process

Admission into the D.El.Ed program at the Adarsha College of Elementary Teacher Education, Narayanpet will be awarded to the applicants based on the following steps taken:

Degree-wise Admission Process

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): Adarsha College of Elementary Teacher Education offers the only program, namely, Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The program is a two-year full-time course targeted at providing knowledge and skills needed for developing professionalism in elementary education.

The college has been sanctioned an intake capacity of 50 students for the program in D.El.Ed. Limiting intake to that small population creates a suitable student-to-teacher ratio that favors focused and effective training. The admission process for D.El.Ed depends on merit as pertaining to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance-test.
