Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Mahavidyalaya, established in 1971 at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, is one of the pioneering educational institutions of the Ajintha Education Society. This single-sex college is a co-educational college that is located in a campus area of 0.74 acres, which is an affiliated college and accredited by the NAAC. The institute has three academic programmes with bachelor’s degrees for a total enrolment of 364 with a faculty staff of 18 loyal and committed members. 

Incorporating goals of quality education, the college has vowed to offer arts, commerce, and science courses to address the needs of various students. The college has a number of facilities that are intended to support the learning and development of the students. At the centre of these amenities is the library, which has expanded vastly over the years it has been in existence. From 500 books in the initial room, it has grown into a large library containing more than 20,000 volumes and is widely used as a student’ reference source. The institution also has well-equipped practical centres, most especially for students in the field of sciences. For extracurricular activities and events, the college has an auditorium where all seminars, cultural programmes, and other events are held. 

Ajintha Education Society Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time undergraduate programmes: These include a Bachelor of Arts (BA), a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). All of these programmes take three years to complete, which affords the students with breadth and depth of education in their fields of study.
