Akui Kamalabala Women's College, Bankura, is an eminent institution for women's higher education. It has made its own contribution to the education sector of West Bengal by offering undergraduate programs of Arts that cover many diverse areas of interest to students.  The admission process of Akui Kamalabala Women's College is kept simple and mainly merit-based. Since it is a women's college, admission is only open to females.

BA Bengali Honors: This course has 80 available seats. The admission process is purely merit-based, which is based on a candidate's overall academic performance with special emphasis on scores in Bengali. Total fees for this course are Rs 9,560.

BA English Honors: This has a catchment of 28 seats and follows a merit-based admission process. Most likely a consideration will also be laid on the candidate's proficiency in English as presented in the 10+2 scores. The course fee is Rs 9,560.

BA Philosophy Honors: This program has a total seating capacity of 49. Admission is purely merit-based while also considering the candidate's overall performance in academics plus the aptitude for philosophical studies. Fees to be paid total Rs 9,560.

BA History Honors: The membership of this program is 48 students. The process of admission is mostly based on merit for the candidate's performance in History and relevant subjects in the 10+2 examination. The fee for the course is Rs 9,560. 

BA Sanskrit Honors: This program has 30 seats. The merit base of admission is completely biased to candidate performance in the Sanskrit portion of previous academic records. The total fee for this course is also Rs 9,560.
