Questions related to B.A.

Have a question related to B.A. ?

Your plan looks well-structured. Choosing BA Psychology through CUET is a good start as it gives you a strong academic base. Preparing for Civil Services after graduation is also a solid option, but it requires consistent effort and dedication. If you later plan to apply for PG in a Canadian university, you should focus on maintaining good grades, gaining relevant experience, and preparing for exams like IELTS or TOEFL. Overall, your path is clear, but make sure to balance your civil services preparation with academic performance to keep both options open.

your career plan is valid as it provide knowledge which is relevant to become ips officer but you need to prepare for other subjects too because UPSC's ips broad syllabus includes Indian governance and current affairs too.

I advice to choose b.a in psychology in india as this avoids the need for an equivalency certificate after your graduation from canadian universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) that is mandatory for foreign degrees.

But still if you want to prefer canadian degree then you can consider Simon Fraser University and the University of Windsor which offer a combined degree B.A. in Psychology and Criminology.

Hope it helps...

Hey!

You have scored 51% and want to purse BA.LLB  under Savitribai Phule University, pune. The main campus offers  BA.LLB but its cutoff is usually higher,so it may be tough with your score.

However, there are many SPPU-affiliated colleges offering BA.LLB but most of them requires higher percentile. You can add them including the main campus, just in case cutoff drops, but you should go for practical options like

PES Modern law college

MES law college

Abhinav Education Society's Law college .

These colleges usually have lower cutoffs but it may vary slightly.

the safest option is to fill maximum choices of SPPU-affiliated colleges , you may get it in later rounds though it's not guaranteed .
