This affiliated college that sprawls across a 35-acre of land has been in existence for over eight decades providing higher education to the community. The college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and provide 13 different courses in seven degree programmes and has sizable enrolment of 6211 students. Amar Singh College has well-qualified faculty of teachers and 68 talented teachers make a strong faculty team ensuring all round development of the students in arts, commerce and sciences stream.
It has very modern and classy facilities that are in place to complement the learning process in this college. The main academic resource is an up–to–date library with a stock of approximately 70 000 books, some of them being first editions. The library also has a well-lit reading hall, and a sequestered area for references for different classes for students and faculty use. As in any normal college, for its lovers of sports and body building it has a lot to offer. There are spacious play areas which include areas designated for cricket, football and hockey; fitness centre filled with state-of-art exercise equipment fosters health and fitness.

infrastructure is poor although buildings are constructed in vintage style but classrooms lack proper facilities like air conditioners smart boards wifi living spaces are not cleaned canteens are not hygienic

The college had all the necessary infrastructure, from classrooms to laboratories, a canteen to a seminar hall, a sports ground, and green parks. There were several libraries equipped with the cache of academic books.

The campus is just so beautiful. The field is huge, the gardens were well maintained, the canteen is nice and the building is also picturesque!. The crowd is amazing, the professors are good, the college staff are accommodating, our fests are also the best out of all the other colleges
