For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.

If money is not the issue, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is preferred for BDS due to a superior clinical exposure and national credentials.
DY Patil is a good private alternative with better infrastructure and comfort but usually less patient inflow and market value.
