Al Madina College of Education, Mahabubnagar Admission Process

Al Madina College of Education, is a premier institution for the training of teachers in the state of Telangana. The college has a number of programs in education, which are duly recognized/approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Admission to Al Madina College of Education is through a system designed to select the deserving candidates for its education programs. The college conducts its admissions into various programs through merit-based selection, which includes marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or the entrance examinations. 

The rules prescribed for the admission process are in conformity with the directions of the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university ensuring a transparent and fair procedure for all candidates. Eligibility: All candidates seeking admission in Al Madina College of Education should fulfill the criteria laid down for each program.

Application Process

The process to apply to Al Madina College of Education, Mahabubnagar is as follows:

1. Check Eligibility: Candidates should check themselves to see that they are eligible for the desired program of study; that is B.Ed, M.Ed or D.Ed as governed by the college and its stipulating regulatory authorities.

2. Application For: Obtain and fill in an application form for the program of interest available on the college website or at the admission office.

3. Document Submission: The completed application form and all relevant documents such as:

  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations
  • Entrance exam scorecard, if any
  • Transfer certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • Any other documents required by the college/institution

4. Entrance Examination: Candidates to the entrance examination as per requirement where the conduct of the examination, syllabus and pattern will be duly informed by the college or the authority hiding such examination.

8. Verification of Documents: College will perform verification of documents against the original copies with the candidate for securing admission.

Degree wise Admission Proces

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The Al Madina College of Education takes in 100 students in the B.Ed program. Admission into the B.Ed course is made on the basis of merit according to the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection is done according to the policy laid down by the state government/UT administration and the affiliate university. It is compulsory for candidates who wish to be admitted to the B.Ed program to be graduates in the subject of their choice.

M.Ed (Master of Education): This program offers a total of 50 seats in Al Madina College of Education. Admission into M.Ed program is also made on a merit basis where qualifying examinations and entrance examinations are taken into account. The selection follows state government or university or UT administration policy. Only applicants who possess a B.Ed degree or an equivalent can seek admission into the M.Ed program.

D.Ed (Diploma in Education): In D.Ed, the intake of students at Al Madina College of Education is 50. Admission to D.Ed has been done on the basis of merit considering marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination conducted by the relevant institution. Processes have been initiated as per the state government's or UT administration's policy regarding the inductive procedure. D.Ed program eligibility requires students to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent.
