Aminpur College of Education is located at Dakshin Dinajpur in West Bengal as a single Teacher Training institution. The college provides two major courses, which are the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), both of which are two years of regular study. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), This course is offered by Aminpur College of Education, is a two-year regular one; intake: 50 students. Aminpur College of Education admission process to the B.Ed programme is purely on merit-based criteria, using marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examinations. Aminpur College of Education admission process will be ruled by the policy of the state government/UT Administration and the said affiliated university. A candidate must have completed his/her graduation/post-graduation from a recognised university for B.Ed. qualification.
The D.El.Ed course is also a two-year regular one with 50 seats. Aminpur College of Education admission process for D.El.Ed. consists of merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examinations. The selection policy will be based, however, upon the policy of the state government/UT administration. To join in the D.El.Ed. programme, eligibility requires a candidate to have passed from 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.
