Anand College of Engineering and Management, or ACEM, in Kapurthala, Punjab, was established in the year 2010. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is an engineering college which comprises 10 acres of land and offers various engineering courses. ACEM boasts a total student enrolment of 990 students and an equal number of enrolments complemented by a faculty of 76 members. The institute offers a total of 8 programmes in two degree types and offers computer science and mechanical and civil engineering disciplines in B.Tech and Diploma.
Anand College of Engineering and Management provides all necessary infrastructures to provide a conducive environment to foster the students' learning process. The boys and the girls are accommodated in different hostels which include spacious rooms and mess halls, and the hostels are connected with the internet at all times. A medical centre that is well facilitated provides health care services all through the night, which is further supported by collaborations with neighbouring hospitals. The library of the college is believed to be the most important section of the institute; here students and professors find books, periodicals, electronic resources and other materials for their studies.
Currently ACEM provides a total of 8 programmes: three B.Tech programmes and three diploma programmes, all conducted full-time. The B.Tech programmes take four academic years, while the Diploma programmes take three academic years. The institute is capable of producing a large number of engineering students every year, as it has a total approved intake of 420 seats for all its courses put together.

The admission process at ACEM is fully transparent and fair. In the case of B.Tech programmes, the government-recognised score of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is accepted. Anand College of Engineering and Management has B.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. All these programmes have an intake of 60 seats each. Anand College of Engineering and Management admissions are on the basis of JEE Main scores, followed by the counselling process. The B.Tech programmes are four-year full-time courses.
Diploma programmes in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science and engineering are offered by the college. There are 60 seats in each diploma programme. Anand College of Engineering and Management admissions are done under JET counselling by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training. These are three-year full-time courses.
Anand College of Engineering and Management also has a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course with an intake capacity of 60 students. Anand College of Engineering and Management admission to this course can be different from engineering courses and is conducted on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination.
The college offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course with 30 seats. Similar to BCA, the admission procedure for BBA could be on the basis of the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam.
