Arasu Polytechnic College is an upcoming technical College established in the year 2015 at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college being recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provides satisfactory education in several fields of engineering. It is a college, which is located on about 8 acres of land; the college has total enrolment of 809 students and 32 faculty members. At Arasu Polytechnic College there are four diploma courses which have been developed to impart theoretical and practical knowledge and skills as per global standards and set up for the students to face the growing technological environment that exist in today’s world.

To this, the college boasts a number of infrastructures that supplement the learning process of the college’s students. Co-edested campus has different hostels for boys and girls for the accommodation of those students who are coming from far away places. To some extent, these books are the key goal of any well-stocked library, offering students to gather knowledge from. For the students interested in games and sports indoor and outdoor games facilities like table tennis, chess, carom, volleyball, football, basketball, cricket , ball badminton etc are available. The campus also has a facility for exercises for those students who would like to undergo some body exercise practices. For the purpose of enhanced academic activities, Arasu Polytechnic College has built practical based laboratories for every department where students can practice and enhance their field related practical knowledge. This policy explains how the college lays down the information technology systems to enhance the students’ technological competency. Others include an assembly hall for functions, canteen for meals, married quarters for teaching staff, and guest house for teaching staff and relatives, clinic with first aid facilities.

Arasu Polytechnic College currently has four full time diploma courses in its curriculum which are all Three-Year-Diploma courses- Civil Engineering,Computer Engineering ,Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
