24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Kolkata, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have done their 10+2 from a recognized board.
The total marks should be an aggregate of 50 percent marks or its equivalent at 10+2 level.
The age bar may vary from one state to another state board. However, generally, the minimum age criteria is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
Candidates should have good command over communication skills, creative thinking, patience, and an aptitude to teach.
Admission Details
Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/UT Administration.
