A candidate should have passed the H.S.C Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) with the following subject:

English or English as the Medium of Instruction. Students who have studied in English Medium and English was not the subject in 12th standard have to produce a Certificate from the school that they have studied in English Medium.

Or

A candidate who has passed the H.S.C Examination after appearing in the supplementary examination conducted by the Board shall be eligible for admission in the current academic year on vacant seats.
