Eligibility Criteria

1. Students must have passed the two-year P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or any other 10+2 examination recognized as equivalent thereto with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects of the second year P.U.C examination of Karnataka or any other 10+2 examination recognized as equivalent are only eligible for admission to BAMS Course

OR

2. The candidates who have passed the B.Sc. Part-I degree examination of any University or equivalent examination conducted by the statutory Universities or Boards with Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology OR Botany & Zoology and secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate are eligible for admission to I BAMS Course, provided the candidate has passed the PUC examination or 10+2 with PCB and English as subjects.

OR

3. The candidates who have passed the B.Sc. Final Part degree examination of any University or equivalent examination conducted by the statutory Universities or Boards with Science subjects with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate are eligible for admission to I BAMS Course, provided they have passed in the deficient science subject (s) namely-Physics, Chemistry, or Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English as one of the languages at the PUC or 10+2 or B. Sc. part –I level.

OR

4. The candidate belongs to SC, ST, Category – I, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B are eligible for admission to the I BAMS Course if they have secured 40% marks in the aggregate in the optional subjects of science namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English as one of the languages at the PUC level and passed it. This claim is only for the candidates who belong to the state of Karnataka as per the law of the land.

5. The candidates should attain the age of 17 years (complete) as of 31st December of the year of admission to the BAMS Course.

6. . Students who have passed an examination other than Pre - University, Karnataka (Bangalore), should submit an Eligibility Certificate before admission issued by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The college will also help in getting an eligibility certificate from the RGUHS if needed.
