Biswanath College of Education, Chariali, was founded in 1993 and is the premier institution for teacher training, located in Biswanath, Assam. This co-ed college has a campus of 4 acres with the pivotal idea of developing future teachers. The National Council for Teacher Education has enlisted this college, which has two specialised programs in education. Spread over a student strength of 200, Biswanath College of Education has taken particular care in maintaining a faculty strength of 12 to ensure that each aspiring teacher gets a focused learning environment. Starting with its affiliation status, the institution leaves no stone unturned in maintaining a balanced student-teacher ratio for the delivery of quality education.
