There was a systematic admission process for the B.Ed course at Blooms College of Education. Candidates were required to qualify in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Blooms College of Education admissions are made purely on merit based on CET performance. After the CET, merit lists are prepared based on CET performance. Only candidates named in this list may avail themselves of admission to the college. The counselling will happen after the CET; seats will be filled on the basis of merit and preference given by candidates. The B.Ed. programme has 100 seats for admissions.
Unlike the B.Ed route, the D.El.Ed programme admission procedure is for merit. Definitely, the merit list is based on scores from qualifying and/or entrance examinations. This admission standard is guided by state government or UT administration instructions. The CET for this course is conducted through the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala, followed by the counselling process. This D.El.Ed. programme also embraces an approved intake of 100 students, similar to the B.Ed. programme.
