Academics went well, but career opportunities weren’t there.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college building looks neat and classrooms are kept in decent condition. Labs have the required machines and systems, though some doesn't even work. Wi-Fi and library are helpful, but system maintenance could be better. They have two canteens which are clean and hygenic. Overall, the facilities are okay for an average college.

    Academics

Teachers explain topics in a simple way and most of them are supportive. The syllabus and daily lectures are followed properly, and exams are managed on time and they are strict about the student's attendance. They also conduct monthly "Industry Expert Session" and guest lectures on various academic topics. However, more practical exposure compared to theories would help students understand industry needs better.

    Placements

Campus recruitment is not very strong here. Only a few small companies visit, but big MNCs are very rare. Many students end up preparing for off-campus drives. The placement cell tries, but the opportunities need to improve a lot for better career growth.

    Value for Money

The fees are not too high, usually around one lakh per year, which is affordable compared to some private colleges in Solapur. Still, many students feel the value is less because of limited placement offers. For basic education, it is manageable.

    Campus Life

The campus has a friendly vibe where students can join cultural events, sports, and technical activities. Festivals and competitions bring energy, though facilities for fun and recreation are limited compared to bigger colleges.

Not high for placements and academics but affordable

    College Infrastructure

BMIT has a large green campus with separate labs, lecture halls, and a digital library. The buildings look modern from outside, and classrooms are arranged with projectors. Labs cover mechanical, computer, and civil branches, though some equipment needs more updates for advanced learning.

    Academics

The college provides different engineering courses with a syllabus that follows university guidelines. Teachers explain concepts well and arrange workshops or guest sessions when possible. Students also get assignments and practicals which improve their problem solving and technical skills in their branch of study.

    Placements

Recruitment is moderate here, with only a few companies visiting the campus each year. Some students get jobs through these drives, while others go for higher studies or search for opportunities outside. The placement cell is active but needs stronger ties with big industries.

    Value for Money

The fees are a little high compared to the limited placements. However, students still receive proper facilities like labs, library access, and workshops. If the placement percentage improves, the amount spent would feel much more justified for learners and their families.

    Campus Life

Cultural programs, sports events, and annual gatherings make the campus enjoyable. Students from different backgrounds take part in various clubs and activities. The environment feels friendly, and new learners get a chance to adjust quickly, though hostel facilities could be improved further.

    Others

BMIT belati of Solapur is a growing institute that gives students a platform to study engineering with good guidance. While the teaching and environment are supportive, stronger placements and better facilities can make it a leading option in the region.

With the increase in student intake from 2024, departments have been expanding their resources to maintain smooth teaching.

    Placements

Placements are moderate, with a few companies from IT, manufacturing, and service industries visiting the campus. While big companies may not arrive often, students with good skills still manage to find decent opportunities. Some graduates also go for higher studies or competitive exams.

    Value for Money

The fee is reasonable compared to other engineering colleges in the region. Students get good facilities like labs, libraries, and events without very high costs. With the rise in intake capacity from 2024, the college is working to ensure that quality is balanced with affordability.

You Can take Admission but you have to do Hardwork for Place

    College Infrastructure

The college has a neat and well-arranged campus with enough space for classrooms, labs, and study areas. The computer labs and workshops provide students with useful resources to practice technical knowledge. Though the facilities are not very modern compared to big-city colleges, they are decent for daily learning and practical sessions. The library has a fair number of books and study material that helps students in their courses.

    Academics

BMIT provides a structured engineering program where lectures and practical work go hand in hand. Teachers try to explain topics in a simple way so that students can understand them better. Some teachers are highly supportive and ready to guide students in projects or doubts. However, at times, the teaching style may feel outdated, and students have to rely on self-study for deeper understanding. Still, the syllabus covers the needed subjects for engineering education.

    Placements

The placement record of this college is not very strong compared to other reputed institutes. Only a limited number of companies visit for recruitment, and many students do not get placed directly through campus. The packages offered are usually on the lower side, and opportunities are fewer in core branches. Students often prepare for off-campus drives or competitive exams to secure better chances outside the institute. Last year Highest placement Package is 7LPA

    Value for Money

The fees are around ₹1,00,000 per year, which is comparatively affordable for an engineering degree. Considering the amount charged, the education and facilities provided are fair, though placement support could be improved. For students looking for a basic engineering education without very high costs, this institute can be a reasonable choice. However, when it comes to return on investment, the placement results may not fully match expectations.

    Campus Life

Life on campus is active with cultural programs, annual festivals, and sports activities that give students some refreshing breaks from their studies. Friendships and group activities make the environment more lively. Still, compared to larger universities, exposure to big events, workshops, and industry interactions is limited. The overall atmosphere is simple but provides a fair balance of academics and fun for students.

    Others

BMIT Solapur gives students the chance to complete their engineering degree with a balance of study and extracurricular life. The infrastructure and teaching staff provide a decent foundation, but the limited placement opportunities remain a challenge for students aiming for top jobs. It is a good option for those seeking affordable education and a basic engineering experience, but it may not be the best choice for career-driven students looking for strong industry connections.

Giving a review to my college was quite good experience

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

yes, it is good, but not that good because it has a lot to develop yet. There are minimal number of classes and in each class. There are maximum students, so I don’t think it is pro efficient for the student studying there.

    Academics

there are lot of experience staff in there, so academics is really good. They are also working on the Placement talks and all that stuff so that they can get more and more placements in the college, so I think that’s good that.

    Placements

mostly the Collage) doesn’t have been in campus drives, but it has the major drives like the Online in the Collage) and the interview in other college or in the Company campus, like that, so it is still working on the Placement. We can say.

    Value for Money

The college is value for money as it demands near around one lakh, but after this scholarship, we have to pay 50,000 for the open and the cast ones get up to only 4000 or 2000 to pay yearly, so that’s really value for money for them

    Campus Life

The campus life is not that good, but it is really because most of the students are from outside, so they know how to respect each other and the campus. Life is really smooth and healthy in terms of safety and other staff.

BMIT has good infrastructure with well-equipped labs, library, Wi-Fi, and spacious classrooms. Hostel and canteen facilities are decent. Faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable, and the placement cell provides good opportunities. Overall, it offers a good learning environment.

    Academics

I am studying CSE at BMIT because of my strong interest in technology, programming, and problem-solving. The college provides excellent teaching, supportive faculty, and a curriculum balancing theory and practical learning.

    Placements

The placement quality at BMIT is decent. Many reputed companies visit the campus, and a good percentage of students get placed every year, especially from CSE and IT branches. The placement cell also provides guidance for internships and interview preparation.

    Value for Money

The course fee is reasonable compared to other colleges. Yes, I feel I am getting good value for money as the facilities, teaching quality, and placement support are worth it.

    Campus Life

The BMIT campus is spacious and well-maintained with greenery, clean classrooms, and good lab facilities. Various cultural and technical events are organized for students. The best feature is the supportive environment, while the worst is that the campus can improve in sports facilities.

    Others

Overall, BMIT provides a good balance of academics, activities, and placements. It is a supportive place for students to learn, grow, and prepare for their careers.

Affordable college, supportive staff, but weak placements

    College Infrastructure

BMIT Solapur provides essential facilities such as classrooms, computer labs, and a library that support students in their studies. The hostel and canteen are sufficient for daily requirements, but overall the infrastructure is quite basic and lacks modern features that many other colleges now offer.

    Academics

Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly. Classes and labs provide fundamental knowledge, though the syllabus and teaching methods need to be updated for today’s industry requirements.

    Placements

Placement opportunities at BMIT Solapur are limited. Only a few companies visit the campus, and most offers are for average salary packages. Many students need to look for jobs or higher studies on their own, as the institute does not have a very strong placement cell. Improving industry tie-ups and training programs could help students get better career opportunities.

    Value for Money

The annual fee at BMIT Solapur is around ₹1 lakh, which is quite reasonable when compared with other private engineering colleges. However, since campus placements are not very strong and job opportunities are limited, the overall return on investment feels less satisfying for students.

    Campus Life

Campus life at BMIT Solapur is simple and balanced, offering students cultural programs, sports, and some technical activities that provide engagement beyond academics. However, compared to bigger institutions, the number and scale of events are relatively fewer, which limits exposure and opportunities for overall personality development and extracurricular growth.

    Others

BMIT Solapur is a decent engineering college in the region, offering affordable fees of about ₹1 lakh per year and supportive teaching staff who guide students patiently. The campus provides essential facilities like classrooms, computer labs, library, hostel, and canteen, but these are quite basic and not very modern. Academics give fundamental knowledge, though the syllabus and teaching methods need updates to match industry standards.

BMIT is an engineering institute that mainly attracts students from nearby towns and villages. It is chosen for its affordable fees and safe environment, making it easier for many families to send their children here.

    Academics

Most teachers try to explain topics in a simple way so students can follow easily. Regular tests and assignments are part of the routine. However, the focus is still more on theory than on advanced industry practices.

    Placements

Getting a job through college placements is difficult here. Only a few companies visit the campus, and the salaries they offer are usually on the lower side. Many students decide to study further or search for jobs outside the campus.

    Value for Money

The fee is around one lakh per year, which is less compared to many private engineering colleges. For students who want a budget option, this works well. But since placement chances are fewer, the return on money feels uncertain.

    Campus Life

The Campus life in BMIT is good, college holds cultural days, sports events, and occasional technical gatherings. Students take part with energy and enjoy the events. Still, opportunities for large fests, industry talks, or clubs are quite limited.

    Others

Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology (BMIT) of Solapur is a good choice for students who want a low-cost engineering degree in a peaceful environment. The teaching is supportive, but placements and exposure remain weak, so students need to put in extra effort outside the campus.
