Degree wise Admission Process
BA Programs: BRM offers a wider range of BA subjects, such as Economics, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu. Admission to these courses is on merit based on the qualifying examination (10+2). The intake for these courses is quite large, with 195 each for Economics, Political Science, History, and Urdu and a further 100 for Philosophy, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
B.Sc Programs: The B.Sc programs available in the college include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The admission focuses on the merit obtained from the 10+2 examination for admission to these programs, in which results are considered for science subjects. Moreover, the difference in the intake capacities of various B.Sc programs exists with Mathematics being 150, around 75 for both Physics and Chemistry, and 72 for Botany.
Other BA Programs: BRM also has BA programs in Psychology, Home Science, Music, English, and Bengali. The intake of these courses varies from 6 for Home Science to 156 for Bengali.
