BRM College, Munger, is one of the prestigious constituent colleges at Madhopur, Munger in Bihar, India. The institution avails different undergraduate programs in the areas of Arts and Sciences, selected on the basis of academic merit. A merit cum basis admission process is adopted by the college. This means that admission into the college is based mainly on academic performance in qualifying examinations. Generally, undergraduates must meet as a basic eligibility criterion successful completion of 10+2 from an authorized board. However, specific subject requirements may differ depending upon the chosen program of study.

Application Process

The application process for BRM College, Munger, usually consists of the following stages:

1. Announcement of Admissions: The college notifies the general public about the commencement of admissions through its official website and local newspapers.

2. Application Form: Fill the application form in which aspiring students have to obtain and fill - possibly through the college website or at the college admission office - the application form to apply.

3. Document Submission: Alongside duly filling up the application form, the applicants should submit the following documents:

• Mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard examinations
• Pass certificates of 10th and 12th standard
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (for reserved category students)
• Recent passport-size photographs

Degree wise Admission Process

BA Programs: BRM offers a wider range of BA subjects, such as Economics, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu. Admission to these courses is on merit based on the qualifying examination (10+2). The intake for these courses is quite large, with 195 each for Economics, Political Science, History, and Urdu and a further 100 for Philosophy, Hindi, and Sanskrit.

B.Sc Programs: The B.Sc programs available in the college include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The admission focuses on the merit obtained from the 10+2 examination for admission to these programs, in which results are considered for science subjects. Moreover, the difference in the intake capacities of various B.Sc programs exists with Mathematics being 150, around 75 for both Physics and Chemistry, and 72 for Botany.

Other BA Programs: BRM also has BA programs in Psychology, Home Science, Music, English, and Bengali. The intake of these courses varies from 6 for Home Science to 156 for Bengali.
