BVRIT and IARE are both well know college. The admission to both the colleges are provided on the basis of TS EAMCET . There are very slight differences between this two colleges. If you observe all the specifics minutely then you will get the idea that BVRIT is a bit better in terms of placements corresponding to the ECE. Also if you visit the faculty members for the ECE department, then you will find more experienced teachers are present in BVRIT. So this are hit points which you can get in excess from BVRIT. Based on your rank and reservation, you have a good chance to get into BV Raju Institute of Technology through counselling.As you are looking for Biomedical engineering seat, you can easily get an admission into it. Last year cut-off was around 64k and you are ahead of it.But, As your father is a government employee there is no chance for a fee reimbursement. Hi Nandupolu, As you have mentioned your EAMCET rank and other details.The only reason I found for which you did not get full reimbursement was your Non-local status.

• Candidates are considered as local if they submit the certificates of 7 years of schooling.

This rule was attached in the academic year 2014-15.Still you were having a quality rank in TS EAMCET for which you got seat in one of the best colleges in telangana.

Placements which required training is very good in this college.Each branch has a minimum of 80% of placements. The placement department in this college does an excellent job in providing placements by bringing various companies.

Now if you consider all this parameters then its clear that both the colleges are great in terms of the first three parameters. But the concern comes in the time of placement. See the placement rate for ECE in BVRIT is around 68% but if you see the placement percentage for CMR IT then its 76%. So for IT in CMR you have a better possibility of getting placed. As there are no big difference between the two then you can choose any but in CMR you get a better placement rate. But you should choose the course based on your interest. If you are interested in the ECE then you will get placed and if you are not interested in IT then you won't. So be honest with your intentions.

Different hostels have different fee structure . For newly hostel admitted students it is Rs.3000/-.

For Vivekananda hostel , for 2nd , 3rd and 4th year is Rs.58,000/-. In Vivejananda hostel each room will have 5 beds.
