Catalyst Institute of Management and Advance Global Excellence Patna was established in 2009 by ‘Vijayam Education Trust’, a non-profit charitable trust. CIMAGE Patna consists of three colleges under Patliputra University (PPU) and Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). It provides courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which include BBA, BBM, BCA, BSc (IT), B.Com (P), and PGDM in full-time mode.
Admission at CIMAGE Patna for UG courses is done on the basis of the CIMGA entrance examination. For the PG programme, it’s based on the MAT or CAT entrance examination. CIMAGE facilities include a library, smart classrooms, parking, IT labs, and sports facilities. CIMAGE has a placement cell that facilitates placements and training for students to enhance their employability skills.
CIMAGE Patna also has scholarship programmes, which are provided on the basis of merit in entrance examinations. It has been awarded the ‘Best B-School of India (East) Award’ by ASSOCHAM, Association of Indian Universities & Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Student Credit Card Scheme
This scheme enables students to pursue higher education at renowned universities. This scheme was launched by the Bihar government and allows non-creamy layer categories, i.e., students whose family income is less than Rs 10 lakhs, to take a loan of up to 4 lakh rupees.
Eligibility for ‘Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme’
Applicants must be permanent residents of the state of Bihar.
Students must have completed their 12th grade from a recognised board.
Students will be given loans for higher education for general courses, technical or professional programmes.

Login with your credentials and submit the required details.
Download the PDF of your application form and wait for further instructions.
After receiving a message or mail with the date and place, visit the centre with your application and PDF for the rest of the procedure.
Note: Girls, transgender, and students with disabilities are provided education loans up to Rs. 4 lakh at only 1% interest, while other students will have to pay 4% interest for pursuing higher education. The Government will waive off the loan if the student is unable to get a job.
Eklavya Scholarship
CIMAGE Patna also provides scholarships on the basis of merit. Eklavya scholarship will be available for those students who will display excellent academic performance in their studies. This is a separate scholarship from the entrance exams and is awarded during studies.
Vijayam Scholarship
CIMAGE Patna ‘entrance cum scholarship examination’ is associated with this scholarship. This will be given on the basis of their merit in their entrance examination. The students are chosen for this scholarship at the time of the entrance examination.
