The Cauvery Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru is one of the few reputable educational institutions for Ayurvedic medicine. The college has set an admission process for its undergraduate courses, such as Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The admission to BAMS at Cauvery Ayurvedic Medical College is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) examination, a national standardized examination conducted for admission into various medical courses across the country. Generally, NEET-UG will usually take place once a year, most probably in May or June. Candidates who want to enroll under BAMS at Cauvery Ayurvedic Medical College must write the exam with the required qualifying mark. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) usually announces the dates for the NEET-UG examination and therefore students are required to keep track of the announcements made by NTA.  Eligibility criteria for BAMS usually include completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. 4. State Counselling Registration: Qualified persons will have to register for the state counseling process, which in Karnataka is usually organized by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

5. Document Verification: Attend document verification as announced by the state counseling authority.

6. Choice Filling: During this process, candidates will also be asked to choose colleges and courses of their interest.

7. Seat Allotment: Based upon the NEET-UG score and rank of the candidate, along with the available college shares, seats will be allocated.

8. Reporting to the College: Once the seat is allotted at Cauvery Ayurvedic Medical College, candidates will be required to report to the college within the allotted time with all necessary particulars.

9. Admission Confirmation: Complete admission formalities at the college, including payment of the fee and submission of documents.
