The College was established in 1938 and it subsequently became a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University. Cm college has a commendable infrastructure. The campus is not that big but has a well organised and peaceful environment. The classrooms are big and well equipped. The college library has a substantial collection of books and journals. The college digital infrastructure is still developing with efforts underway to improve online access. College doesn't provide facility for accommodation /hostels. College also have courts for badminton, basketball etc it also organises annual sports function for students. It also has a canteen for students and teachers. It also has a seminar/auditorium hall for organising various college cultural functions.
