Hello Ajay,
You scored a decent rank in the TNEA exams. There are less chances that you will get admission in the Coimbatore Institute of Technology but you can try for admission in SSN based on your rank.
At the same time try applying for other colleges to be on a safer side.
Good Luck!
Hope it helps you.
For any further queries please feel free to comment.
Thnak you.
Hi Candidate,
All the three colleges are good but I would suggest you to prefer TCE Madurai over the other two. It has a better rating and placement record than the other two. Preference givern to the colleges rankwise is given below:
TCE madurai-1st
Govrnment college of technology coimbatore-2nd
CIT coimbatore-3rd
All the best. Hope you take the right decision.
Hi there,TCE Madurai is a better option for mechanical engineering students:
The placements in TCE are pretty good. Almost 80-90% of students get placed every year. Moreover, certain internships are being provided by some reputed companies. The average annual salary package is around 4-6 lacs per annum with the highest being 24 lakhs (in the academic year 2016-2017). As the college has acquired the 37th spot in NIRF ranking, more companies are expected to arrive. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, TVS, Nissan, Renault visit TCE for campus placements, and certain other companies also visit.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Hello aspirant,
Well with your rank of 3986 in JEE Main under SC category, you could get a seat in NIT kurukshetra under home state quota. Below I have listed the previous years cutoff for all the bracnhes of NIT Kurukshetra for SC category -
Note : These are the closing rank for home state quota.
Now to get admission in NITs, you have to attend the JoSAA counselling process. You can go through this link and checkout the details regarding JoSAA counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-counselling
If by any chance you don't get a seat through JoSAA, then you can apply for CSAB counselling through which you can get a seat in NIT. CSAB counselling will start after the completion of JoSAA. You can visit this link and check the details regarding CSAB counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/csab
Good Luck !!!!

Hello aspirant ! The best course to study depends totally on the student who is good in which stream. There are chances that a particular stream is good but the person opting it could not cope up with that. So I would suggest you to go with your interest or you will end up doing nothing without interest. According to latest trends there are more jobs in IT sector.
Hello aspirant,
Every college/university has a certain percentage quota for NRI students admission. So it is possible that there can be students of abroad residency who will secure admission in the college. the college has options to explore internships abroad and gain a lot of exposure.

The hostel mess is not that good , but the infrastructure is pretty decent , mostly sufficient for everyone , including labs and classrooms . It is pretty difficult for day scholars to participate in any kind of sport actually because of the timing , but the club activities are good .
The college infrastructure gives an answer. Yes, It have all the necessary infrastructure, facility and equipments required. The classrooms have all the required facilities like WIFI, ACs , smart boards and the benches are well organised. All the books are available in the library. Equipments required for performing various practicals are available. The campus maintain a green and clean environment. The hostel and hostel mess is very hygienic. All the necessary requirements are well maintained.
College infrastructure is really good and that is being said as of government institute it's really good , there are labs and libraries which fulfills almost every requirements for us to study , so the infrastructure is really good and classrooms are neat though
