Limited infrastructure, and sparse placement opportunities.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Ten years ago, the B.Com program provided a strong grounding in core commerce subjects like accounting and finance. The college's infrastructure was quite basic. Classrooms and facilities were functional but lacked modern upgrades. The library had the essential resources needed for study, though it was missing more recent materials and modern amenities

    Academics

The faculty members were experienced and knowledgeable, offering valuable insights into commerce. However, their teaching methods were somewhat traditional and could have benefited from more interactive and modern approaches to engage students better.

    Placements

Placement opportunities were limited at the time. Few companies visited the campus for recruitment, which meant many students had to seek opportunities independently through personal networks or external job fairs. This made securing a position more challenging.

    Value for Money

The B.Com program provided reasonable value for the fees charged at the time. While the academic foundation was solid, the limitations in infrastructure and placement opportunities slightly affected the overall value. It was a fair investment for the education received, though there was room for improvement in various aspects.

    Campus Life

Campus life during my B.Com years was relatively subdued. There were fewer extracurricular activities and social events, which meant that the overall student experience was quieter and less dynamic than it could have been.
