Sports containing facilities for men and women, gymnasium, and auditorium for dramatics, etc. are available in the college to provide facilities for games and other physical fitness requirements of the students. Students of both genders can enjoy smooth hostel facilities and make students of both genders to feel at home as well as encouraging them to learn round the clock.

The Community Science College and Research Institute provides a limited number of the full time programmes as part of the higher education curriculum. Degree wise Admission Process

B. Sc Food Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons): This is an undergraduate course of 4 years duration as provided by the institute. The candidate for this course is admitted based on the marks obtained during the 10+2 examinations with science subject influences. This is a very broad course dealing with food nutrition and dietetics.

M.Sc Food Science and Nutrition : It is a post graduate course with duration of 2 years. These courses are specifically for those holding a degree, with a background of related sciences. This would include assessment of the student's undergraduate record apart from other entrance examination/interview tests conducted by the admission authority.

Ph.D. Food Science and Nutrition: It provides a 6-year doctoral degree in Food Science and Nutrition. Admission to the program is usually based on master's degree scores, a research proposal, and interview or entrance tests conducted by the university.
