The CSI College of Dental Science and Research is one of the new generation dental colleges in the Southern State of Tamil Nadu, India, which started its journey in 2007. Recognised by the Dental Council of India, this affiliated college extends specialised programmes for the dental professions. Located in a large 9 acres premises, the institute has a total enrolment of students 419 and total faculty members 148. The college offers 1 undergraduate and 6 postgraduate degree programmes in dentistry and offers different concentrations within the field of dentistry. And CSI College of Dental Science and Research is a co-educational college, so it strives to offer the best dental education for students while maintaining a culturally diverse campus.

CSI College of Dental Science and Research admission is predominantly through national-level entrance examinations for admission to postgraduate and undergraduate courses in dental science. The Undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme requires that the candidate sit for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) entrance examination, thereby ensuring that the candidate is well-acquainted with the basic science subjects and possesses adequate aptitude to study dentistry. Likewise, in the postgraduate Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes, the CSI College of Dental Science and Research considers NEET MDS examination scores.
Eligibility requirements for CSI College of Dental Science and Research admission into the BDS programme stated above comprise passing a 10+2 or equivalent examination in the specified subjects – physics, chemistry, and biology. A candidate becomes eligible if he/she secures a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the subjects mentioned above (with a provision of reservation as per government rules). For entering into MDS programmes, candidates must be BDS graduates from a dental college approved by the Dental Council of India and authorised by an Indian university.

At the CSI College of Dental Science and Research, BDS five-year NEET UG-based merit-cum-entrance programme has an approved intake of 100. The reservation of seats is administered as per government guidelines. The 10+2 examination must be taken up with subjects in the sciences, namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All relevant minimum percentage requirements have to be adhered to.
There are six disciplines of MDS offered by the college, with three seats each:
MDS programmes last 3 years and admit students based on the merit of their scores in NEET-MDS. The candidate must have obtained a BDS degree from an institution recognised by the Dental Council of India and completed his/her internship.

It has a very gud infrastructure.. They maintain the clg campus cleanly.. They don't have a ground.. Which can be maintained.. Our classroom is quite large.. With cctv cameras.. And an projector.. And even Ac too.. We have Avery big library,with many new books and even internet browsing option.. Hostels are not well maintained.. Living space is gud.. With nice food..
