The Departmental Law Library has over 50,000+ hard copies of those volumes, which are important for legal studies. Those books are given importance that emphasises  legal history, jurisprudence, taxation, business law, and international law. Rare manuscripts and bound journals dating back to the 19th century support specialised research. 

Department of Law University of Calcutta facilities offers a dedicated boys hostel that looks after every residential needs of the male students. The hostel has a total of 16 halls that give housing facilities to over 1500+ students in total. These Boys hostels offer triple- and single-sharing rooms furnished with beds, study tables, and cupboards. Amenities include purified drinking water, electricity, Wi-Fi, reading rooms, common recreational areas, and 24×7 security with CCTV surveillance and wardens.

The college also offers Sports facilities which include cricket, football, hockey, and rowing. Dedicated courts for basketball, lawn tennis, badminton, and volleyball, along with indoor game halls for table tennis and chess, support inter-college tournaments and fitness activities.

A centrally located cafeteria serves balanced, hygienic meals and refreshments. Additional snack kiosks and vending machines across the campus cater to diverse dietary preferences.

The college also offers  medical facilities to their students, which are really helpful at the time of emergencies. On campus, a fully staffed health centre provides 24-hour ambulance services, minor procedures, outpatient consultations, and first aid.

Just like boys hostel the college offers a dedicated separate girls hostel where all basic facilities are offered to the female candidates. The hostels provide secure, well-ventilated rooms with similar furnishings and utilities. Facilities include hot water supply, power backup, common rooms, study corners, and continuous female warden supervision. 

The campus also offers gymnasium facilities, these gyms are fully equipped with modern equipment that supports weight-training machines, treadmills, and free weights. 

The IT infrastructure of the college is designed with a view to make tasks simpler for the students, as the classrooms and seminar rooms are ICT-enabled with projectors and sound systems. There are various computer labs that provide high speed internet. 

The college also has an auditorium, which has a seating capacity of over 500 attendees, advanced audio-visual systems, and stage lighting. The auditorium hosts seminars, moot court finals, cultural programmes, and guest lectures.

The college offers transport facilities as well, where the campus is well-connected via buses, taxis, and metro links. 

Computer Laboratories: Equipped with the latest hardware and research software for legal drafting, online filing, and data analysis. Moot Court Halls, Two fully furnished halls simulate real courtrooms with judges’ benches, stands, and recording systems for mock trials and advocacy training.
