The Department of Law, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, is one of the most premier institutions for legal education in the valley of Kashmir. LLB Supplementary Shift: This is a supplementary shift provided to cater to the more interested students for pursuing the LLB degree. The intake has been approved at 22 seats. Admission process and eligibility criteria are presumably the same as the regular LLB program.

LLM: LLM is the Master of Laws, a postgraduate course in law that requires two years, with an intake of 25 seats approved for the course. The course has been designed for graduates of LLB who want further specialization in specific branches of law. Admission may follow an entrance test and performance on the LLB program.

Ph.D Law Integrated: It is a six-year integrated doctoral program for advanced legal research for those interested.
