M.Phil Media and Communication. To enter M.Phil, a person should have been adequately successful in the Master's Degree Examination and pass an examination given by the department. It admits students at the beginning of either the 1st or 2nd term depending on department convenience.

Ph.D Media and Communication Studies: It does not highlight a clear script of the admission process for Ph.D., but mostly comprises an entrance test and/or interview in most Ph.D. programs across Indian universities. PGD Indian Film Studies: This is an online program for postgraduate diploma, through which admissions are done in July. The program has a fixed intake capacity of 25 students and a total fee of Rs 26,000.
