Digambar Jain College, Baraut was established in 1947. Affiliated to Uttar Pradesh, India, this college is an institution of higher education that has been illuminating higher education for the last seven decades. The NAAC accredited and NCTE approved college has its approach toward quality educational pursuit. Situated on a 5.40-acre campus, the institution has been a beacon of higher education for over seven decades. Total student strength in the college is 2,512 while its faculty strength stands at 45. It offers 15 courses coming under 7 degree programmes that cater diverse academic interests and career aspirations. 

Digambar Jain College has some outstanding facilities, which support excellence in learning process. At the heart of these are the well-stocked library, aptly termed as "A Learning Centre", housing over 83,000 books, 62 periodicals, and 25 newspapers. The spacious reading room of 7000 sq. ft. can seat 250 students. It is provided with INFLIBNET for online access. In addition, the college is well-equipped with laboratories in Psychology, Drawing and Painting, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, and Education. Bhagwan Mahavir Hall and a dedicated Seminar Hall will cater to extracurricular activities as well as events. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Therefore, students can access digital resources at will all over the college campus. 

Digambar Jain College provides diversified undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The mainstream undergraduate courses are BA, B.Com, and B. Sc. The postgraduates can be accommodated in the MA course in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Geography, History, Psychology, Economics, M.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, M.Com, and B.Ed. The other has 100 students doing their B.Ed and looks very impressive. M.Sc Physics and Chemistry admit 20 each, whereas M.Sc Mathematics caters for 50. This M.Com course accommodates 60 students. This large variety of courses caters to varied sets of academic interest as well as the goals set by the students in their careers.

Digambar Jain College, Baraut, and enjoys high standing among the institutions of higher education in Uttar Pradesh. The admission process at Digambar Jain College is considered merit selection and follows the rules of the State Government and the university it is affiliated to. Admit boys into 15 courses under 7 degree programs to cater to a wide variety of academic interests and career destinies. Admission procedures are largely synchronized with the respective academic calendar of the Uttar Pradesh universities, and applications are ideally called in the months preceding the opening of the academic year.
