 DM College of Teacher Education with head office at Imphal as one of the premier teacher education institutions of Manipur, India. The entire admission process at DM College of Teacher Education allows only deserving candidates to seek admission taking into consideration a merit-based competitive system. For the B.Ed program, the admission is based on the qualifying examination marks and an entrance test. 

Admission into the M.Ed program is on the basis of the entrance test only conducted by the college. There will be questions pertaining to the compulsory subjects of the B.Ed course and will be ensured in that way that the candidates are having some foundation while entering the education studies. The college accepts the CUET UG score for admission, wherein CUET UG or Common University Entrance Test for Under Graduate is conducted sometime in May each calendar year. The next examination would be held between May 15 to May 24, 2025. Application Process

The application process for DM College of Teacher Education, Imphal comprises the following steps:

1. Notification: The college announces about admissions through various media and through its official website.

2. Application Form: Candidates should obtain the application for their desired program (either B.Ed or M.Ed) and fill it up. The form may be available online or on campus.

3. Document Submission: Along with the completed application form, candidates need to submit required documents that should normally include:

• Passport size photographs
• Mark sheets of the qualifying examinations

4. Entrance Test:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: The DM College of Teacher Education Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program has an approved intake of 150 seats. The admission procedure to B.Ed is based on a combination of qualifying examination marks and an entrance test. Merit is used to select candidates, whereby 20% of the qualifying exam weight is added to the 80% result from the written test. The entrance test covers topics on general English and content areas of arts and science streams.

M.Ed: The Master of Education (M.Ed) program comprises 50 seats. Admission to M.Ed is entirely reliant on how well the candidates do in the entrance test conducted by the college. There will be compulsory subjects in the B.Ed course used in this test, ensuring that the applicants have some foundation in educational theory and practice.
