Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Admission Details

Students who have passed the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination in the B.Ed course for the year in college take admission through counseling. In the case of seat vacancy, direct admission is given to the girl students as per the instructions of the university.
