Dreamz College of Pharmacy, Mandi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has made proper arrangements for the stay of the boys. The college has four hostels, two for boys. Seats are provided on a first first serve basis. Hostel facilities can be provided to the 100% admitted boys students on demand. A fixed security amount annually has to be paid in advance by each student towards rental, mess arrangements, etc. which will be adjusted against actual monthly charges.

The hygiene and cleanliness factors are the basic ideas that are very well taken care of and the best measures are taken to provide a very healthy and homely atmosphere for the students choosing to avail of this facility. Mess arrangements are made on a cooperative basis along with hygienic and good food.

The Campus has a well-equipped medical care center to provide first Aid medical services round the clock, 7 days a week & 365 days a year. Realizing the importance of immediate medical care to a large population of more than 3000 students, two qualified doctors both male & female along with Para medical staff have been deputed to meet with all types of emergencies. An ambulance with life-supporting systems owned by Dreamz Medical Care Centre is also available. This facility is also being used for roadside emergencies.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a well-equipped Library cum Reading Room with a wide variety of books and journals on educational and other topics has been provided for the benefit of students. Dreamz Group of Institutions has a well-established library that caters to the needs of the students, research scholars, and faculty. The library functions on an open-access system for faculty members and research scholars. But the students have only limited access it is automated with a wide collection of the latest books, periodicals, and CDs.    

The college students are good sportspersons too. They actively participate in the sports activities. Our students have played cricket matches at inter-university level tournaments. We have national-level players in our cricket team. In table tennis also our students have won prizes at the state level. So we have laurels in sports also.

The college excels in inculcating & encouraging ethos in its students by providing excellent infrastructure. The specialized sports wing includes intensive training by instructors. The laurels and accolades received by the college teams bear testimony to the outstanding performance of this wing. In tune with the objective of all-round development of students, Sport has an unmatched ability to mobilize and excite people in their millions.

Sport matters to most people, but fewer of us play sport or are physically active on a regular basis. various sporting and physical development activities are encouraged amongst students. To enable students to enjoy sports, the campus is equipped with an Olympic-sized running track, football field, cricket field, basketball & tennis courts, table tennis tables, etc.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College has a Dreamz Group of Institutions that has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. The canteen can conveniently accommodate 100 students at a time, functioning on the campus.

The canteen is provided with modern furniture and electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provide hot lunch, snacks, and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a takeaway counter. The College has a Canteen inside the campus in which a variety of dishes are available at reasonable rates.

The canteen remains open on all working days and It is a place where students unwind and relax with friends to enjoy good quality, delicious and healthy food at nominal rates. It is definitely a treat for all students. A college canteen is a place where students congregate to not only eat but exchange views. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has got an excellent transport facility with a fleet of more than 6 buses. Comfortable and easy transport is provided to the students and staff from all the adjoining areas, Sunder Nagar, Ner-Chowk, Mandi, etc.          

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has well-equipped laboratories with basic amenities and infrastructure required for each specialized subject of Pharmaceutical sciences. The laboratory facilities include safe energy devices, safe heating devices with protective measures,s and also portable water supply during working hours of the laboratory. The regular inventory of the chemicals, glassware, hardware, and minor equipment is maintained during the academic calendar year.

The RIP has a computer center equipped with P-IV configuration on LAN for the students of Bachelor of Pharmacy. The peripherals are adequate to cater to the routine requirement. The students/Faculty of RBIP are regular users of Internet facilities at the computer center and the facility is available after the regular closure of academic activities. Information retrieval is allowed and soft copies of subjects concerned are made available to faculty and students.

The workshop consists of a machine shop possessing a number of lathes, planers, shapers, grinder & drilling machines, a Carpentry shop, a Fitting shop, a Welding shop, a Smithy shop, a Sheet metals shop, a Foundry shop, an Electrical shop.         

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like, photocopying facility and stationery, etc.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The College has a computer center of the college is well equipped with Pentium – IV Computers 2.9 GHz and the SERVER's Platform is Windows2003. The institute has a leased, dedicated high bandwidth (1 Mbps) RF link for uninterrupted connectivity to the Internet from Glide to facilitate data transfer and information exchange.

The computer center allows the students of the college to avail 24-hour unlimited access to the Internet to keep them alert with the latest developments in the world. A 1:1 (Computer: Student) ratio is facilitated in all the Computer and Internet Labs.  

This facility enables the students to update their knowledge of events, technology, and other happenings of the world, thus proving very fruitful to their overall development.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
