Hello,
With 440 marks in the NEET exam, he has very low possibility of getting a government college in Karnataka or any other state. In Karnataka, the previous year cut off for getting a government college according to your category was 542 marks.
However, you can go for the following private colleges in Karnataka-
Chandrama Dayanand Sagar Institute of Medical Sciences- 342
SDM College of Medical Sciences- 404
Khaja Bande Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences- 434
Please note that the cut off changes every year owing to various factors such as category of the student, difficulty level of the exam, number of students attempting the paper etc
Alternatively, you can also use the college predictor tool- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor
Hope it helps!
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well,
According to previous year's cut off trends candidates from ST category required minimum 430-470+ marks in NEET to get admission in government medical college. With the score you have mentioned above there might be few possibilities of your admission in government college. You can try in semi government or private college where chances of your admission will be higher. You should apply through state quota if you belong to that particular state, as state counselling has said 85% seats will be reserved for state quota students, which might increase chances of your admission.
Admission in St. John's Medical College will be based on NEET itself. If you want to apply through management quota then you need to contact or visit the college by yourself since all the colleges have different criteria for management quota seats.
Read the article below for information about St. John's medical college,
https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/st-johns-medical-college-bangalore/mbbs-course
For admission in MBBS through management quota, fees would be around 10-15lakhs and it might increase till 25-30lakhs per year.

Hello Aspirant
Since the NEET cut-off is changing every year, getting stuck in one score for one college would be unfair. Karnataka Common Entrance Exam ( Karnataka CET) conducts its own entrance test (Karnataka CET Exam) every year for admission to Medical, Dental, and Veterinary courses in Professional Colleges within the State of Karnataka. The cut-off for the General category is 50%, so if you score 50% or above you will be on the merit list.
For general category , to get admission in Veterinary score must be 350 or 350+ so the chances of your's getting a seat is high through state quota only.
Though some more colleges of Karnatka you can apply for Veterinary are:
Veterinary college, Bangalore
Veterinary college, Shimoga
Veterinary college, Bidar

hello aspirant
You haven't mentioned the name of the colleges for which you want to know about the fees. Since your profile show you as a medical aspirant, so I am telling you for Medical College management Fees.
In private and deemed to be medical colleges, government quota seats cost 1,41,196 and the management quota fees is from 32 lakh to 65 lakh. (Total fees)
The fees of a management Quota student is usually 3 – 4 times the normal fees . There is a simple reason for this. From the management point of view, this is their chance to fill 15% of the seats on their discrepancy and it is economically good for the Institute, which is authorized by the government.
I hope that this will help.

Dear aspirant
CMC Vellore is one of the premium institute to study medicine in India. Although it is minority college and very less number of seat available for all india merit students.
Only 16 seats are available in all india merit students out of 100. 16 seats are further divided as 12 for Gen category, 3 seats for SC/ST category and 1 seat for central pool quota.
So you can see only 3 seats are available in CMC Vellore for both SC/St category so cut off marks goes very high.
In NEET 2021 UG admission didn't happen for all india merit students and all were reserved for minorities according to High court orders.
In NEET 2020 cut off marks for CMC Vellore for SC/ST category was 535 marks.
At your expected marks almost you have rare chances to get CMC Vellore. Also you need to register on CMC Vellore which has been already done in months of May and June.
