For Rajasthan, the competition is tougher because the number of colleges is limited, so with 362 in SC, MBBS is not possible. In Karnataka, because of a large number of private colleges, you may get a chance for BDS or BAMS, especially under reserved quota seats. MBBS, however, still remains difficult at 362. So your best bet is to target private BDS or BAMS colleges in Karnataka rather than Rajasthan.
Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for your question!
With 362 marks in SC category, MBBS in government colleges is difficult because SC cut-off in those states also crosses 420–450 marks. For BDS, you may have chances in some private dental colleges under state counselling. For BAMS, the chances are slightly better since Ayurvedic cut-offs are lower compared to MBBS/BDS. You should definitely apply in state counselling of Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.

Dear Aspirant,
To get MBBS admission in Govt. collage through NEET UG, you must score very well in the examination. The safest score to get a seat in Govt. collage for a General seat should be 620+, OBC - 585+ and for SC/ST - 460+.
These are the top most Govt. Collages in India : AIIMS Delhi, MAMC Delhi, KGMU Lucknow, BJMC Pune , etc.

Hello Zaman, great to hear about your interest in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding. To provide you an idea about the salary in India, to for an entry level Naval Architect it would range from around 3.5 to 6 LPA, depending on the employer (i.e., Indian Navy, Cochin Shipyard, L&T Shipbuilding, etc.) and the level of qualification (B.Tech or M.Tech).
On the other hand, abroad (countries like Norway, USA, UK, Singapore, and UAE), have significantly higher salaries with Naval Architects starting off entry level salaries of 50,000 - 80,000 dollars p.a. and also much better infrastructure and research and development opportunities.
So yes, it is a growing field in India however, many professionals see more challenging projects and thus better salaries abroad, it is seen as a preferred location to long-term growth within this industry.
Hello,
With a KCET rank around 65,000, securing a BSc Agriculture seat in a government college in Dharwad or other universities in Karnataka might be challenging, but not impossible.
While some private colleges might be a more realistic option, certain government colleges could still be accessible, especially if you have a good score in the Agriculture Practical exam or fall under specific quotas.
Thank you!!
No, it's not required to register separately, to get MBBS seat in All India Quota. You just need to register on MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) https://mcc.nic.in. This registration will give you access to MBBS seats across most states under AIQ. 15% seats in all government medical colleges (except AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU, etc. which also participate via MCC) are reserved for AIQ.
But if you want to avail the State quota you may require to register for different state's counselling authority like
Maharashtra (CET Cell)
Karnataka (KEA)
Tamil Nadu (TN Medical Selection)
Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP)
Rajasthan (RUHS)
Hope it helps
The chance of getting in government college is low as for OBC also the cutoff goes upto 300+ in various courses.
Hi Palash,
The Tecno India University (Kolkata), includes 8 semesters for B.Tech and for each semester the fees is INR 79,000 as they have mentioned in their official brochure. So collectively the B.Tech for 4 years would cost INR 632,000. You may also check for scholarships based on your eligibility.
ALL THE BEST!
In 2023, the NEET cutoff for Karnataka ranged from 720-137 for the general category and 136-107 for SC/ST/OBC categories.
For the general-PH category, the cutoff was 136-121, and for SC/ST/OBC-PH, it was 120-107.
Note: These cutoffs are based on NEET scores, not ranks, and may vary slightly for different colleges and specializations. The official NEET website will have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
