General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and Approved By the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must be over 17yrs or under 35 years of age as of 1st July of the year of application.

The candidate should have passed PUC/PDC/10+2 or its equivalent examination with 45 percent marks in aggregate preferably science group (40% aggregate marks in case of SC/ST/OBCs).

Admission shall be once a year.

Students should be medically fit and a medical exam will be done soon after admission with a sum of Rs.500.00 and if found unfit they will not be admitted to the course (the medical fee is not refundable).

Students should have a fair knowledge of English.
