The institute is recognized by the Bar Council of India and offers three specialized integrated law programs to cater to the varied interest profiles of students. The main aim of the admission procedure is to facilitate the selection of the most deserving and talented candidates, determined through several national-level entrance examinations and the aptitude test of the university.
The main mode of admission into the Faculty of Law will be through the PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT), which will be mandatory for all applicants. PESSAT is an online examination carried out by the university and followed by an interview on the same day at the institution. The results of PESSAT are usually released within three working days after the test.
Another way through which candidates would obtain an admission is on the basis of some other national-level entrance tests like the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and the Law School Admission Test-India (LSAT-India). As is the usual case, the admission cycle starts in the months preceding the start of an academic year. Though particular dates may differ, prospective students are best advised to frequently check for application deadlines, examinations schedules, and the announcement of results.
