Eligibility:

• For B.Tech programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• For M.Tech programs, candidates must have a valid GATE score, and for some programs, the TS PGECET score is accepted.

• For PhD programs, candidates must have a master's degree in the relevant field and must qualify through a written test and/or interview conducted by the respective department.

Selection Process:

• B.Tech: Selection is primarily based on the performance in the GITAM GAT entrance examination. The institute also accepts scores from other national-level entrance exams for certain programs.

• M.Tech: Admissions are based on the GATE scores, and in some cases, TS PGECET scores.

• PhD: Admission is based on performance in a written test and/or interview conducted by the respective department.

Application Process

1. For B.Tech Programs:

   • Register for GITAM GAT on the official website (application period: December 13, 2024 to March 27, 2025).

   • Fill out the online application form and pay the required application fee.

   • Book a slot for the online GITAM GAT exam.

   • Appear for the GITAM GAT exam on the scheduled date.

   • Wait for the results and counseling process.

   • If selected, complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment.

2. For M.Tech Programs:

   • Qualify the GATE examination or TS PGECET (as applicable).

   • Apply for the desired M.Tech program at GITAM School of Technology.

   • Submit all required documents, including the GATE/TS PGECET score card and academic certificates.

   • Attend counseling if shortlisted.

   • Complete the admission process if selected.

3. For PhD Programs:

   • Check the official GITAM website for PhD admission announcements.

   • Submit the online application form for the relevant department.

   • Appear for the written test and/or interview as scheduled by the department.

   • If selected, complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment.

Degree-wise Admission Process

• B.Tech:

  • GITAM School of Technology offers 11 B.Tech programs with an intake of 1,320 seats.

  • Admission is primarily based on GITAM GAT scores.

  • Available specializations include Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science and Business Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Internet of Things.

• M.Tech:

  • GITAM School of Technology offers 5 M.Tech programs with a combined intake of 42 seats.

  • Admissions are based on GATE scores and, in some cases, TS PGECET scores.

  • Available specializations include Computer Science and Engineering, Machine Design and Robotics, Data Science, Computer Aided Structural Analysis and Design, and Electronics Design and Technology.

• PhD:

  • GITAM School of Technology offers PhD programs in disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.

  • Admission is based on performance in a written test and/or interview conducted by the respective departments.
