Gourishankar Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Satara, Maharashtra, was started in 2008. GIPER admission is primarily on the basis of merit obtained in relevant entrance examinations. The B.Pharma course is admitted through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). The aspiring students of the M.Pharma Pharmaceutics course at the postgraduate level have to qualify in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
