Government Arts College for Women, Salem (GACWS) was set up in the year 1979 at Salem of Tamil Nadu of India. This affiliated college NAAC approved offers 49 courses under nine degree program. Occupying a campus of 14.71 acres, GACW has a total population of 3,383 students with students being entirely female. The faculty of this college has 48 members only and offering education in each stream to the students.
