Government College, Gobranawapara Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Government College Gobranawapara  and is a co-educational institution located in Tarri, Abhanpur, district Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Affiliated with the NAAC, the college has several courses available on different subjects which are merit-based and allow admissions on the basis of qualification.  So far, the undergraduate and postgraduate programs go through simple procedures related to admission directly into its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Admissions are secured annually and are usually carried out after the notification of 12th standard results for undergraduates and graduation completion for postgraduates. The college offers courses for a maximum of 8 in 6 different degree programs catering for other wide interests in higher learning programs.

Also, the candidate has to go for the mentioned qualifications either B.Com or B.Sc. The criterion for the same is 10+2 with a certificate from any of the known board in India. Admissions for these programs are offered based on the merit list prepared out of mere total of any qualifying examinations. The Application Process

The admission procedure at the Government College, Gobranawapara, is simple and may be entered by all those who are deemed eligible for admission. The following is the step-by-step guide to the application process:

1. Notification: The college gives exposure to admission notifications through various media channels and websites.

2. Application Form: The application form is acquired by applicants either from the college or by downloading from the website.

3. Form Filling: The candidates have to fill in the application form with correct personal and academic details. They must ensure that the information entered matches the documents and corroborates their authenticity.

4. Document Submission: The candidates are required to submit copies of the following documents along with the filled application:

• 10th and 12th Mark sheets (for UG) or bachelor's degree Mark sheets (for PG)
• Transfer Certificate issued by the last attended institution
• Character Certificate issued by a Gazetted Officer
• Caste Certificate (SC, ST, OBC) (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photographs

5. Application Submission: Submit all documents along with the filled application form prior to the deadline given to the Office of Admission.

6. Merit List: On the depth of performance of applicants in previous qualifying examinations, the college has the duty to prepare a tentative selection list of the institution.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA Hindi Literature: This program has an approved intake of 300 seats. Admission is based on a merit list prepared from marks obtained at the 10+2 level, with an emphasis on the candidate's Hindi performance and other relevant subjects. 

B.Com: The program provides 100 seats. 10+2 or equivalent Commerce stream allows candidates to apply against a cut-off merit list prepared on the basis of the outcome of the qualifying examination.

PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications): The course consists of 60 intakes. Graduation in any discipline will qualify an applicant for this course. Of course, the course will investigate the marks a candidate earns in the qualifying degree in addition to a merit-based selection.

DCA (Diploma in Computer Applications): There are 40 available seats in the diploma course; they are open to students from 10+2 pass from any stream. The place selection process will be based on the results in the qualifying examination.

MA Hindi Literature: The postgraduate program offers 40 seats. Only those candidates can apply who obtain a degree in Hindi Literature or a related field. Admission for the same will depend upon the merit list to be prepared from graduation marks.

MA Geography: Borrowing from MA Hindi Literature, this program will offer 40 seats. The admission requirement in Geography is either a bachelor's degree or equivalent from any University. The selection is based on the merit in the Bachelor's course.

B.Sc: A program with no fixed seat specifications is available for students from the 10+2 Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
