Government College of Engineering, Kannur established in 1986, is one of the premier engineering institutions in Kerala, India. GCE Kannur is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

GCE KANNUR Admission
Students are offered GCE Kannur admissions at UG and PG levels. Candidates must complete the entire GCE Kannur admission process to secure admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. For GCE Kannur admissions to B.Tech programme, the aspirants need to appear for the KEAM followed by counselling.
GCE Kannur PG admissions (M.Tech) are offered based on the marks obtained by students in GATE followed by counselling. Candidates aspiring for GCE Kannur PG admissions must fill the Kerala M.Tech application form in an online mode, students need to send the printout to authorities along with the other required documents. The final admissions will be offered on the basis of merit, preferences and availability of seats. The GCE Kannur also follows the reservation of seats as set by the Government of Kerala.

GCE Kannur B.Tech Admission Process
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for GCE Kannur UG admissions.
Fill the KEAM application form.
Appear for KEAM.
KEAM result is released in online mode at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
Students must meet the KEAM cutoff to qualify for KEAM.
Participate in counselling. Candidates must choose GCE Kannur as their preferred college for admissions.
After the counselling, CEE Kerala conducts the seat allotment process or KEAM through Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) which is a Single Windowed System.
Candidates must visit the allotted institute for document verification and pay the admission fee.

The college offers seven courses for GCE Kannur PG admissions. The duration of GCE Kannur PG programmes (M.Tech) is 2 years. Candidates need to fill Kerala M.Tech application form and must note that the admissions are carried out based on the GATE scores. Therefore, it is mandatory for students to sit for GATE.

College Infrastructure
High-quality Wi-Fi is provided in the college and hostel. Labs are very good with high-quality instructors and instruments. Classrooms are good and have very good infrastructure. Library has all types of books related to academic studies and extracurricular learning. Hostels have different grounds and a good mess.

Hello,
Cutoff list for masters' degree stream wise is not given. You have to wait untill counselling period. The rank list will be released. Universities have their own exam and GATE score is also accepted for MTECH admission.
For year 2018, GATE cutoff was 300 for general and OBC category for structural engineering.

You have a decent rank but i suppose what you have mentioned is your category rank which could be a bit too high for GCE Katihar. To be honest the trend change every year so may expect a seat for yourself but you might have to compromise with the branch. You might not be able to fetch yourself the top branches.
