This co-educational college is situated in Bhubaneswar near the AIIMS Hospital and is built over an area of 10 acres of land. Being an affiliated college, it work under the recognition of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which standards the quality education. The institute teaches two specified subjects of physical education for a total of 282 students, that is catered by 8 faculty members. Since its main concern is the area of physical education, the college serves as the breeding ground for prospective sports educators and professionals.
