Government Degree College, Drang or GDC Drang is a new government teaching institution established in the year 2006 in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is an affiliated college at village-Jundhar, Mandi; this college has got accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). GDC Drang is a campus spread over an area of 25.26 acre and provides a number of undergraduate programmes to its 476 students enroled there. The college possessing 16 committed teachers offers 15 courses in 4 degrees in Arts, Commerce & Science streams.
The college is determined to make sure that it creates a right environment for learning. GDC Drang has library in its building having 3,100 books and four government magazine with accommodation of 25 students at a time but has the capacity to expand the number of students gracefully. B.Com course has only 60 seats while many B.A and B.Sc specialisation have 80 seats each. The infrastructure is very normal.The college has basic facilities. The classrooms and library are okay, but some things like the labs need improvement. It would be better if they had more modern equipment.
