Government Engineering College Modasa is a government-recognised college that was established in the year 1984 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, in the North Gujarat region. GEC Modasa is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. From 1984 to 2007, the college was affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan. Government Engineering College Modasa is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
