GEC Modasa Admission Process

Government Engineering College Modasa offers admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Government Engineering College Modasa admissions are offered to several B.E and M.E programmes. For getting admissions, candidates have to fulfil the Government Engineering College Modasa eligibility criteria. 

The GEC Modasa admission to the B.E course is done based on the score secured in the entrance exam- GUJCET conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) or JEE Main. Then, candidates have to participate in the counselling. 

Government Engineering College Modasa admission to M.E programmes based on the entrance exam- PGCET conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Direct admission to the M.E programme is offered to candidates who have a valid GATE score. Furthermore, candidates have to participate in the counselling round. Government Engineering College Modasa Admissions 2025 for B.E./B.Tech

Government Engineering College offers seven B.E programmes. The B.E programmes are offered under the following specialisations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. The duration of the B.E programme is 4 years.

Government Engineering College Modasa BE Admission Procedure 2025

  • Candidates have to appear for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), which is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) or JEE Main.

  • Candidates need to register for counselling conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

  • Further, a separate merit list for JEE Main students will also be released.

  • During the registration process for the counselling, the candidates have to mention their preference for the Government Engineering College Modasa.

  • The counselling process confirms choice locking and seat allotment. 

  • Final admission is offered on the basis of entrance exam score, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

The GEC Modasa offers admission to two M.E programmes. The M.E programmes are offered in Computer Science and Engineering and Transportation Engineering specialisations. The course duration of the M.E programme is 2 years.

Government Engineering College Modasa M.E. Admission Procedure 2025

  • The admission to M.E Computer Science and Engineering and M.E Transportation Engineering is based on PGCET.

  • Candidates have to apply and appear for the entrance examination, PGCET conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

  • The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPE) conducts the exam in an offline mode. 

  • Students have to register and apply online at the official website of ACPC for the counselling of PGCET.

  • Candidates who have a valid GATE score are eligible for direct admission. 

  • The seats are allotted to the candidates as per the counselling rounds.

  • The merit list is prepared based on the PGCET scores and the preference given by them for the courses and colleges.

  • Final admission is offered after verification of documents and course fee payment.
