Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) offers admission to B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, Dual Degrees, MS, M.Sc, M.Des, MBA and many other courses. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers B.Tech courses in 14 specialisations. • Meet IIT Delhi B.Des eligibility criteria.

• Appear and qualify for UCEED and qualified candidates must register for the counselling process.

• Then, the candidate must select IIT Delhi as the preferred college.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers M.Tech, MS, M.Des, M.Sc, and MBA at the postgraduate level.  IIT Delhi selection process is different for all PG courses. The duration of the PG course lasts for 2 years. The details of IIT Delhi admission criteria for PG courses is given below. 

 IIT Delhi Selection Criteria for PG Courses 

IIT Delhi has started the IIT Delhi 2025 M.Tech registration process on March 22, 2025. Candidates can fill out the application form till April 14, 2025. They need to provide the scored obtained in the GATE exam for MTech admission to IIT Delhi. Aspirants must meet the GATE cutoff 2025 and the IIT Delhi M.Tech cutoff for admission to the institute.  It is mandatory for candidates to register themselves on the GATE COAP portal while applying for PG programmes at IITs. IIT Graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or above are eligible for direct IIT Delhi M.Tech 2025 admission. Such candidates are not required to appear for the GATE 2025 exam.

IIT Delhi M.Tech Admission Process 

• The candidates must meet the IIT Delhi PG eligibility criteria.

• The candidate has to apply and qualify for the GATE examination. 

• If the candidate meets the GATE cutoff then the candidate should register for counselling conducted by COAP.

• Then the candidate must fill out the application form from the official website of IIT Delhi. 

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for written tests and interviews.

• Candidates with MBBS degree (minimum overall CPI of 6.5) or B.Tech degree (minimum overall CPI of 8.0) are exempted from GATE 2025.  

• Then seat allocation for IIT Delhi M.Tech admissions will be done based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination.

• Finally, the candidates must submit the documents for verification and pay IITD fees. 

IIT Delhi Direct Admission Process for M.Tech Courses

• IIT Graduates having CGPA of 8.0 or above are exempted from having a GATE score. 

• Eligible students must fill out IIT Delhi application form from the official website.

• Students will be selected for direct M.Tech admissions based on interview. 

• Finally get documents verified and pay IIT Delhi admission fees.

IIT Delhi M.Tech Reservation Criteria 2025

The selection process for IIT Delhi M.Des admission 2025 will include of a studio test and a personal interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for IIT Delhi M.Des 2025 admission based on their CEED 2025 score, will have to appear for an interview. The studio test and interview are expected to be held at the lecture hall complex in IIT Delhi. IIT Delhi M.Des studio test will be held in May last week, tentatively. • Then candidate has to apply and qualify for the CEED examination. 

• If the candidate meets the CEED cutoff then the candidate can apply for the counselling process.

IIT Delhi offers MBA and Executive MBA programmes. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi released MBA admission form for the academic batch of 2025-27 in online mode. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the IIT Delhi MBA admission form by visiting the official website- dms.iitd.ac.in.
