IIT Roorkee M.Tech Admission 2025 Dates for GATE COAP

The candidates can access the IIT Roorkee login portal by visiting the official website acad.iitr.ac.in/. The candidates should give a valid username, password, and captcha. At the end of the IIT Roorkee login process, the candidates should click on the login icon to proceed to the next stage of the login process. At the undergraduate level, B.Tech and B.Arch are offered by the IIT Roorkee.  M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, M.Sc, M.Plan, and M.Des are IIT Roorkee PG courses. IIT Roorkee Admission Process 2025 for B.Tech/B.Arch

• The candidate must meet IIT Roorkee eligibility criteria to apply for the courses. 

• The candidate must qualify for JEE Advanced.

• After the declaration of the results, if the candidate meets the IIT Roorkee JEE Advanced cutoff then the candidate should apply for the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Process).

IIT Roorkee B.Des admission is offered for duration of four years in full-time mode. The B.Des programme is divided into eight semesters with the objective to provide creative thinking, design methodology, computing, engineering analysis and design.

IIT Roorkee Admission Process 2025 for M.Tech/ M.Arch 

• To get admission into the IIT Roorkee, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria that are required.

• The candidates must apply and qualify for the GATE entrance examination. 

• Candidates applying for M.Tech courses should meet the GATE cutoff and appear for the counselling process. 

• Regular B.Tech. degree holders from the IITs with CGPA > 8 and sponsored students with relevant experience and written test/interviews are exempted from the GATE examination.

IIT Roorkee MBA admissions is offered for duration of two years in full time mode. IIT Roorkee MBA is offered with dual specialisations in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Information Systems and HRM.

• Candidates applying for IIT Roorkee MBA admissions 2025 should meet the eligibility criteria of the MBA programme. 

• The eligible candidates are required to appear for the CAT entrance exam and meet the IIT Roorkee MBA cutoff 2024.

• Candidates who meet the IIT Roorkee MBA cutoff 2024 can proceed with the personal interview process.

• IIT Roorkee's CAT cutoff 2024 differs based on the category to which the candidate belongs.

• The candidate must qualify for GAT-B for admission in M.Sc. ( Biotechnology), and for departments other than Biotechnology, the candidate must qualify for JAM.

• Then the selected candidates must register themselves, report to the concerned Head of the Department and submit the joining report.

The college offers Courses at doctoral levels. The duration of a PhD lasts for 6 years. IIT Roorkee PhD courses are offered in full-time mode only.
